I'm not sure that I am transcribing that address correctly. There is a
"Barton" in Vermont, but I'm not sure what that "Ldy" or whatever is. It's called a "pagoda" on another card and a "dancing pavilion" on this one. Whatever it is -- or was -- it must have been the place to gather on those hot summer nights. The colors in the sky of this picture seem to suggest activities around sunset.
